Important information about Apple's Notebook Battery Safety Recall
For speedy diagnosis and repair, bring your computer into our store (along with proof of purchase for warranty service), and Digital Society can fix it. We understand how much you depend on your computer and its data, and we’ll get things running as fast and painlessly as possible. No appointment necessary.
Digital Society is an Apple Authorized Service Center for your Macintosh computer. For warranty repairs, simply bring your computer and proof of purchase to us during business hours, and allow 5 business days for diagnosis. If parts are needed, we will order the parts, and get your computer back to you as soon as we can. We know you don't want to be without it.
If your computer is less than one year old or under Apple Care, you can provide a proof of purchase, and you have a hardware problem, there will be no charge to service your CPU.
Please be aware that your Apple warranty does not cover Mac OS, third party or installed software problems. We are happy to help you with your software problems at a rate of $119 for Level 1 Software issues, and $199 for Level 2 software issues.
We also repair computers not covered under Apple warranty. Diagnosis usually takes 5 business days. For all computers that go forward with repairs, you will have to pay for the cost of any parts needed, plus $119 flat rate for Level 1 Harware Repairs, or $199 for Level 2 Hardware Repairs. Software issues are either $119 or $199 flat rate, depending upon the issues.
Before we do any repairs, we will contact you to let you know the problem and how much it will cost to repair that problem. If you do not go forward with the repair, you will be charged a $49 diagnostic fee.
We also offer a 6 business hour Rush Diagnostics for $149.
We've heard too many nightmares of lost data. Take a few minutes to consider letting us back up your hard drive for you for $99 before service. If your drive is failing, we also offer data recovery for $250.
